We’re excited to announce our fall plans as they stand right now. We are still looking to secure additional turf/court time for another league but for now we’re ready to announce our first two league offerings as well as some exciting additional events for this fall.
Fall Leagues:
Monday – Mixed Team Entry
– Canada Games Centre
– 4v4 on court – Space for 8 teams to register
– Sept 25 to Dec 18 (11 weeks, no games on Thanksgiving)
– Game slots at 8 pm and 9 pm – $840 per team
– Registration opens Thursday, Sept 7th at 7 pm
Tuesday – Mixed Draft Entry
– BMO Soccer Centre
– 6v6 on turf
– There will be 6 teams formed from draft participants
– Sept 26 – Dec 19 (12 weeks)
– All games at 9 pm
– $99 per player
– Registration opens Wednesday, Sept 6th at 7 pm
Exciting Additional Fall Offerings! Learn to play / Beginner clinic – Sept 12th
New to ultimate or just want to improve your skills going into fall leagues? Join us for a FREE clinic and invite your friends!
The details:
– Tuesday, Sept 12 at 9 pm
– BMO Soccer Centre – Just bring a white and dark shirt, water bottle, and cleats or sneakers
– The clinic will include a brief intro to ultimate, a few skill-developing drills, and a fun scrimmage- All skill levels welcome!
– Registration opens Wednesday, Aug 30th at 7 pm
Mixed Masters Scrimmage – Sept 12
In past HU surveys we have received feedback about our community wanting fun, one-off offerings such as masters scrims. So this scrimmage is for masters-age players only! That means 33 years of age or older for men-matching and 30 years of age or older for women-matching players, as of Dec 31, 2023.

– BMO Soccer Centre
– $8 per player
– 6v6 continuous
– Max of 14 men-matching and 14 women-matching players, all skill levels welcome
– Registration opens Thursday, Aug 31 at 7 pm
Women-matching and Men-matching scrimmages – Sept 19
We’ll be hosting a women-matching player scrim and a men-matching player scrim that is open to all skill levels.

– Tuesday, Sept 19 at 9 pm
– BMO Soccer Centre
– $8 per player- 6v6 continuous
– Max of 28 players per gender-match, all skill levels welcome
– Registration opens Thursday, Aug 31 at 7:30 pm
Halifax Ultimate Hat Tournament – Oct 14th
This one-day tournament at BMO Soccer Centre will function similar to a draft league – sign up as an individual and we’ll sort you into teams for a one-day, 4v4, mixed continuous tournament! A great low commitment, high fun way to play some games and meet new teammates. More details to come, but for now just mark your calendars!
