Summer 2015 Friday beach
We've got access to the Vball NS beach volleyball courts, and we've decided to run some 4v4 beach ultimate test games for the month of May and the first 2 Fridays in June, and then will evaluate how things go, then decide what to do for June-Sept.We will be running this league as pickup-style, meaning that we'll make teams up at the facility every week.
Games will primarily be run as co-ed, but we may run some single gender games to evaluate their suitability.
Games will be planned to start at 6:30 and 7:30.
The facility has outdoor showers, so players can rinse off after the game. We're working with them to come up with a BBQ arrangement for post game eats.
The games will be played just behind the turf soccer field at the Burnside turf fields. See the sand here on Google Maps.
